Every Bittium Tough Mobile™ purchased comes with a 12-Month limited warranty. DEC Care extends your coverage to include device support & maintenance and unlimited access to DEC Concierge Support Services for 12-Months.

Device Support and Maintenance

Bittium Tough Mobile™ come with a limited manufacturer’s warranty on the device software support and maintenance for the period of ninety (90) days. DEC Care extends that term to 12-Months.

Support and Maintenance covers the following:

  • Access to DEC Concierge Support Services and Product Support Portal
  • Software Updates and Upgrades to device firmware and Operating System

Without a current DEC Care coverage your device is not be eligible to receive software updates, upgrades, and system enhancements.


Device warranty is provided by the manufacturer, Bittium Wireless Ltd. (“Bittium”).


As part of the manufacturer’s warranty, Bittium warrants that upon delivery, and for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of delivery, hardware Products will substantially conform to the applicable Bittium Specifications and be from free from defects in material or workmanship. Additional country specific legal guarantees may apply.

If the device is determined to be defective within the twelve (12) months warranty period, Bittium will repair the product or replace it with a new or refurbished product, at its option, at no charge to the customer, except as set forth below.


Bittium further warrants that upon delivery, and for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of delivery, the Software will substantially conform to its Specifications and will not fail to execute its programming instructions due to defects in materials and workmanship when properly installed and used on the hardware designated by Bittium for such Software.

The warranty does not cover:

  1. Cosmetic damages, or device failure caused by liquid damages, or damage due to misuse, abuse, negligence, accident or modification or disassembly of any part of the product.
  2. damages due to improper operation or maintenance, connection to improper power supply or attempted repair by anyone else but a facility authorized by Bittium to service this product.
  3. ordinary wear and tear.
  4. defects or damage resulting from the use of the product in conjunction or connection with accessories, products, or ancillary/peripheral equipment not furnished or approved by Bittium.

This warranty does not cover user manuals, customer-made set up or set up adjustments to the phone or network coverage problems.

Warranty For Accessories

Consumable items such as batteries, cables, or other accessories purchased separately on DECSecure.com are covered by a limited six (6) month warranty.

Extend your DEC Care coverage

All devices purchased through DEC include 12-Months of DEC Care which includes:

  • Device Support and Maintenance
  • Warranty
  • DEC Concierge Support Services

You can choose to extend your DEC Care to 36-Months at the time of purchase and for a period of 60 days following the delivery of your device.

Return Merchandise Authorization

To obtain warranty service via a DEC authorized service facility, you must first schedule a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) within the DEC Care portal.

The device must be shipped to DEC either in its original sales and delivery packaging or in packaging affording a similar degree of protection. Keep your shipping receipt and we will reimburse the warranty shipping costs up to $30 USD.

You are responsible for the shipment to be delivered and received by the DEC authorized service facility indicated in the RMA documentation that is provided when scheduling.
